Our client is a recognized as the leading technology provider in the integrated marketing space. Their product is recognized by firms like Forrester and Jupiter as best in class. Their flagship product allows customers to integrate and manage email, direct mail, and mobile marketing campaigns. Their product allows customers to deliver the most relevant messages to the most receptive individuals at the most opportune times — in an automated, repeatable way.
The Position
We are looking for a senior server engineer to join the software engineering team. In this position you will be developing the next version of their product middleware and database access. Candidates should have at least 7 years experience developing Java applications, with product company, ASP or SaaS development experience preferred.
Responsibilities
* Implement new functionality and product enhancements.
* Acquire knowledge of existing code and contribute in a way consistent with prior conventions.
* Work with the client development and data teams to deliver our product releases and define our target architecture.
* Fix defects in the product
Your Profile
Candidates should have experience developing highly available, high performance software solutions with experience in many of the following areas:
J2EE, SOA, Web Services, Servlets, JSPs, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Design Patterns, JBoss, Java Messagin Service (JMS), EJBs, Open Source Framework, AJAX, X-Forms.
Experience with the agile development methodology a major plus.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast pace team environment, and be focused on meeting due dates.
